Prossy, abducted by the Lord’s Resistance Army when she was an early elementary student, suffered three years under the control of the rebels who abducted her. Now, she is fighting back. Surviving her horrific past and looking to a promising future, she is learning skills, spending time with her family and smiling again. Before she entered the ChildVoice program at the Lukodi Centre, her mother, Valentina, said to Prossy,
"This will now be your future. You will now go and learn. You will be respectful. You will obey. This is your future. Concentrate and study hard.".

Your monthly gift of any amount will give a child mother and their children resources to believe in their future. You can make a difference in the lives of war-affected mothers today.
Please consider joining Amplified!
Or consider a one time gift to ChildVoice. Summer is right around the corner! Often, summertime conjures feelings of liberty, untroubled thoughts and relaxation. Pause for a moment and reflect on the girls and their children in northern Uganda. Provide a gift of independence from their war-affected past to restore their broken lives. With your help, they will reawaken the optimism they thought they had lost.
Your gift of $500, $200, $100, $50 or even $20 will assist ChildVoice in providing housing, nutrition, education, and spiritual and emotional growth to children and their families who desperately yearn for ways to cope with the horrifying events that have shaped their lives. With your assistance, ChildVoice can help them. Give these children a voice-a voice that they can pass on to the next generations.

Thank You
