New Land for CVI Uganda

by Jenn Shepherd : November 12, 2008

On Tuesday landowners and community leaders from Lukodi, a village in northern Uganda, met with ChildVoice staff to hand over a plot of land to be used as the site of our new CVI Uganda campus. While there are still a few details to be worked out, an architect from Iowa is now surveying the 35 acres and meeting with contractors about the building plans. Our new campus will be the site of a larger, permanent village for formerly abducted children and those affected by the war. Another 25 acres of land is already being used in the nearby village of Kulubel as the site of our agriculture project.
